Adam Gallegos

Adam is an investment advisor and president & CEO of The Foundation Investment Group. Adam is a financial services expert with more than 20 years of experience, and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Prior to joining FIG, Adam was previously employed as a senior consultant at W.P. Carey, Inc., Altegris Investments, and Kensington Investment Group. His knowledge in alternative investment strategies is extensive, including public and private real estate, global macro, long-short equity, managed futures, event-driven, fixed income long short, venture, and private equity. Adam began his financial services career as an analyst at JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Barclays Global Investors. In addition to financial services experience, Adam spent four years as an entrepreneur developing and managing golf courses in Northern California.

Adam received his B.S. from California State University at Sacramento (business administration with a concentration in finance).  He holds his FINRA Series 3, 7, 30 and 66 securities registrations. A nationally ranked motocross racer in his youth, Adam has always had a passion for sports. His two sons are now sharing an interest in golf, fishing, and the outdoors. Adam and his wife, Christine, have traveled extensively and spent time in over 40 countries. These experiences helped build his tremendous understanding of world markets, their interdependence, and their complexities.
